Today we share Meera and Nikhil’s wedding. They had an outstanding wedding at Penha Longa Sintra, a Ritz Carlton Hotel.

Penha Longa Hotel is a perfect venue for Indian Weddings. Right in the middle of Sintra it’s a hotel surrounded with beautiful and very green landscapes. 

Meera and Nikhil gathered all the family and friends from UK and India to celebrate all the Indian festivities in Portugal.

When we first met Meera, we understood since the beginning what was her dream wedding. It’s always very enjoyable to create all the event design together with our brides. We enjoy every single detail of this process!

Meera and Nikhil made their Mehendi and Sangeet event entrance with a very famous live band in Lisbon.

At this very first night, everyone danced until very late under the stars in Penha Longa Monastery. The dancefloor was covered by traditional and colorful Indian umbrellas and everyone had so much fun that we are sure it was a memorable first night.

Next day morning, the preparations started very early as usual.

The bharaat had obviously very loud music and a vintage Mercedes.

Later on, the ceremony full of flowers on the most outstanding mandap, on top of a lake. Meera & Nikhil definitely looked fabulous in their indian attires.

In the evening, two words to describe everything: elegance and uniqueness.

What a gorgeous intimate fairytale woodland reception that we had the pleasure to design and plan.

It was definitely an unforgettable event.
