About Daniela Baptista
Founder, Lead Planner, & Brand Creative Director
Somehow I always knew I would be a creative entrepreneur– I just didn’t know what my journey would look like. Growing up in Portugal, I was always encouraged to study science or math, but the arts were my chosen path. When I was just 16, I set out on my own and began my studies in business management, English, and Portuguese. A multi-passionate creative, I applied to culinary and cookery production– a course that Michelin-star chefs take before they open their restaurants! I learned to manage teams, create business plans, and made connections in the hotel and hospitality industry which ultimately led to working for a fancy hotel restaurant. It should have been my dream job, but deep down, I craved something different. When the hotel’s wedding planner resigned during wedding season, it was my moment to step up. Over a span of two years, I planned and coordinated 150+ weddings. When it came time to decide if I would continue working for the hotel, I once again went my own way and started Unique Dream Wedding in 2017.
I gathered all my savings, moved to Lisbon, and opened my company. Over the past 9 years, I’ve planned hundreds more unique weddings–some traditional, some contemporary, and most a beautiful fusion of my couples’ dreams, desires, and tastes. I’ve worked with couples from all over the world to plan weddings here in Lisbon, and across Europe.
It is my honor to form connections with my clients, construct experiences, and deliver excellent service. My work is a direct reflection of you as a couple – portraying your relationship, your unique life story, and your way of life. Passion drives everything I do. As your wedding planner, I cherish pure, heartfelt moments and strive to bring these special moments into your wedding celebration.
Our Unique Team
Daniela Gonçalves
Daniela Gonçalves began her professional career in the hospitality industry as a hotel receptionist, where she had the opportunity to interact with different cultures and nationalities daily – something that has always motivated her, as a travel enthusiast herself.
After she transitioned to the events department, she had her first experience with wedding organization and planning. Quickly realizing that this was her calling, she sought to learn more and become certified in the field to dedicate herself daily to making the dreams of many couples come true. Daniela believes that every phase of wedding planning is important as the wedding day itself. Throughout the months of planning, she devotes herself to defining every detail with the couples, ensuring that nothing is overlooked on the big day.
Inês Filipe
With a background in visual arts and a degree and master’s in Graphic Design, her professional journey began in the creative field, where she specialised in designing wedding stationery.
It was through this connection to the wedding world that she met Daniela and the Unique Dream Wedding team – an encounter that introduced her to a new side of the industry and sparked a growing passion for event planning.
Bringing a strong creative foundation and a genuine love for aesthetics and organisation, she found in weddings the perfect space to combine both structure and emotion. Her goal is simple yet meaningful: helping couples bring their vision to life – everything they’ve dreamed and imagined – turning their wedding into something that truly represents them as a couple.
Margarida Valentim
Margarida Valentim first met Daniela Baptista and Unique Dream Wedding at a vibrant Indian wedding in Sintra, where they quickly bonded over their mutual love of event planning.
With a degree in events management, Margarida believes in the importance of building personal relationships with every couple by learning their story and listening intently.
She lives by the mantra ‘do unto others as you would have them do unto you’ and brings this philosophy into every wedding she plans. With sensitivity and grace, she brings a unique touch to every event through harmonious details.

Beatriz Botelho
Since a young age, she has always been passionate about interacting with people and creating memorable experiences for clients. This drive led her to pursue a career in hospitality and tourism from the age of 15, where she had the opportunity to meet a diverse range of people, cultures, and dynamics. After a few years, her professional journey took a new direction.
Unique Wedding welcomed her with open arms, and she quickly realised that an event is not just an event – it is a space where a strong team spirit, organisational skills, attention to detail, and a dedication to always delivering the best results and service are paramount. Above all, the team is one where work becomes lighter, thanks to the fun and unconditional support shared among everyone.
Bruna Peixoto
She graduated in Social Communication and always wanted to work in an area where she would have constant contact with people and filled with different stimuli, a work where every day was different and challenging. She managed to meet these requirements in wedding planning and didn't think twice when the opportunity to be part of Unique Dream Wedding team arose. She was guided and taught in order to be able to meet the level of demand and professionalism that is required by the team and the profession. This gratification materialized in an enormous satisfaction for what she does and gratitude for the enormous opportunity to work with a team focused on the sole objective of providing the best and most memorable Weddings.
