Anusha and Isar

Anusha and Isar, a couple from New York, chose Portugal for their wedding, drawn by the country’s rich culture and rich gastronomic variety. As true foodies who love wine and whisky, they wanted a celebration that reflected their passion for food and unique experiences.
The first day began with the Mehndi event at Bella Vista in Sintra, a more intimate gathering for a few guests. The décor was inspired by vibrant Indian colors, and guests enjoyed henna paintings on their hands as part of the celebration.
The evening continued with a Welcome Dinner at the beautiful Casa dos Penedos, a small palace in Sintra surrounded by the Sintra mountains, where they enjoyed a Portuguese gastronomic experience. The décor featured wildflowers, a favorite of the bride, with pieces made of bamboo and wood, and, of course, plenty of music to set the tone for the evening.
The second day saw the wedding and reception at the stunning Quinta da Bella Vista, another incredible venue in Sintra. The afternoon began with rain, but the outdoor ceremony went ahead, enveloped in a mystical atmosphere. Dinner was held in a beautiful glass marquee, with nature-inspired décor—lots of greenery, whites, flowers, and birds, creating a garden-like ambiance. The celebration continued until 3 AM, filled wth dancing and joy.
